INTERLAKEN, N.Y. — Seneca County’s health department has issued a water conservation order for the village of Interlaken, saying the village is running out of water.
The county did not explain how this is happening, only saying that it’s a critical situation.
It suggested running dishwashers and washing machines only with full loads as well as taking shorter showers and not leave water running while brushing teeth.
The village and the health department say this order is in effect until further notice.
