Susan Sampson, communications manager for Lehigh County Authority, said water service was disrupted along Ridge Avenue from Sumner Street to Lincoln Street, and the road is also temporarily closed along that stretch. Crews were dispatched to repair the line, and water service is expected to return around 9 p.m. Sunday.
