Access to clean water still remains a challenge for many rural communities in KwaZulu-Natal.
This emerged during a four-day inspection the South African Human Rights Commission conducted in uMsinga, outside Greytown, last week.
“The commission received a complaint pertaining to the water challenges in uMsinga, within uMzinyathi District Municipality, to conduct inspections and to engage with community leaders and members of the community,” said the spokesperson for the SA Human Rights Commission, Lloyd Lotz.
