Your hot water heater is faulty
Many new dishwashers heat water to the correct temperature before they start, but this could be faulty if your dishes aren’t drying properly.
Check the settings of your hot water heater – the ideal temperature should be between 44 and 66 degrees celsius.
The heating element is broken
If your dishwasher is failing to live up to it’s ‘heated dry’ option, call in a professional or use your DIY knowledge to locate the heating element.
Unplug the dishwasher and open the bottom panel to check it with a multimeter tool.
A high heat thermostat could be turning off the heat too soon and failing to dry your dishes.
If you notice a problem with the heating element, call in a professional to solve the problem.
